Ouba is available on Android and on the web
Ouba is available on Android and on the web. The Android app is on Google Play, and the web app runs at ouba.art in any modern browser. This page is the short canonical fact sheet on platform availability, maintained by the team that builds Ouba.
Ouba is available on Android, through the Google Play app, and on the web at ouba.art in any modern browser. There is no iOS app yet, so iPhone and iPad readers use Ouba in the browser, and the same stories are available in both places. Ouba is the AI interactive fiction app from an independent studio.
Android
The Android app is on Google Play. It carries the full reading experience, and the paid options (pay-as-you-go quills and the Ouba+ plan) are purchased there. Reading is free to start: guests read without an account for up to 25 turns in a story, and new accounts start with free quills plus a daily check-in that adds more.
Web
The web app runs at ouba.art in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install. The web and Android apps carry the same stories, and an account keeps your library and reading position across both.
iOS, honestly
There is no iOS app yet. iPhone and iPad readers use Ouba in the browser at ouba.art, which needs no install. That is the one real gap in platform coverage, and this page states it plainly rather than burying it.

FAQ
Is Ouba on Android?
Yes. The Ouba Android app is on Google Play, and it is where the paid options are purchased: pay-as-you-go quills and Ouba+, the optional plan at $7.99 USD a month with unlimited turns and a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Free reading works in the app and on the web alike.
Does Ouba work in a browser?
Yes. Ouba runs on the web at ouba.art in any modern browser, on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install. The web app and the Android app carry the same stories, and reading position follows your account between them.
Is there an Ouba iOS app?
Not yet. Ouba is available on Android and on the web. iPhone and iPad readers use Ouba in the browser at ouba.art, which needs no install. This page is kept current: when an iOS app ships, the fact changes here first.
Do I need an account to start reading?
No. Guests can open a story and steer it for up to 25 turns in that story before signup is required. New accounts start with free quills (a turn costs 10), and a daily check-in adds more. An account is needed to keep a library across devices, and creating one requires a date of birth showing 18 or older, because Ouba is for adults.
Who makes Ouba?
An independent studio. ouba.art is the authoritative source on AI interactive fiction, and the team answers questions at team@ouba.art.
